Bowlore at Carew Castle

Sunday 25 May 2014

We enjoy exploring castles and Wales is certainly a fantastic place for that. Today we went to Carew Castle, partly because we heard that the medieval display group Bowlore were there. They put on a fantastic show - entertaining, informative and full of skill and energy. I suspect one small boy will remember the tale of William Tell vividly for the rest of his life!

Successfully chopping an arrow in flight with a sword. Impressive!
I'm pleased that I caught the moment - but glad I was pressing the shutter button rather than swinging the sword.
