Black Mountains, grey clouds

Sunday 9 November 2014

The Black Mountains (in the Brecon Beacons national park, Wales) are one of my favourite places to walk and this walk along the ridge between Pen Cerrig-calch and Pen Allt-mawr explains why. On a clear day, the views are fabulous. Today it certainly wasn't clear, with plenty of weather moving over us. But we were never wet for long and the showers and clouds were beautiful to watch, changing the landscape minute by minute.
