Golden Leaves in Twinberrow Woods
Saturday 15 November 2014
The changing of the seasons is one of my favourite things, especially seeing how one place changes through the year. We are fortunate to live right next to Twinberrow Woods, Dursley, so we get to see the transformation over time: compare the difference to a misty March morning. Right now the woods are glowing golden with the autumn leaves. Many leaves have already fallen and most of those that hang on have turned beautiful shades of yellow, brown and red. Soon there will be none left at all and winter frosts (and hopefully snow) will arrive - the cycle continues.
