Solar Eclipse

Friday 20 March 2015

We woke up to fog and I was tempted to head over to the Forest of Dean as the forecast looked better. But it started to clear and the ever weakening sun did manage to burn through so we got a decent view of the partial solar eclipse from our house in Dursley. The light went so weird, dim enough that the birds started to sing like it was dusk, but without the warmer colours of sunset.
