Around Downham Hill

Saturday 27 February 2016

I've been fortunate to have been walking all over the world in the last couple of months - New Zealand, Hong Kong and Snowdonia. I'd not done a proper walk locally for far too long. So we did an old favourite - walking the skyline hills we can see from our house: Uley Bury, Cam Long Down then Cam Peak, encircling Downham (or Smallpox) Hill. Dursley and the Cotswolds really are a beautiful part of the world, even on a cold windy grey day. Soon spring will be upon us (we saw our first bluebell today), bringing wonderful new growth and colours to the landscape.
