White Snowdonia

Saturday 13 February 2016

The mountain tops of Snowdonia were properly wintry. There was a fair wind blowing making it wild up on top, but we had a great day out. I'd not done the climb out from Lyyn Idwal to Y Garn before - as we got higher crampons and an ice axe were essential. Then we walked along the northwards along Glyderau ridge, a route I've not done for many years. A great winter's day in the mountains.
