Morning mass ascent at Bristol Balloon Fiesta

Friday 11 August 2017

My favourite part of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta is the early morning mass ascent. We went to see it in 2014 and again in 2015. The forecast looked favourable, critically with very little wind, so we set a very early alarm. It's beautiful to watch so many balloons take off and slowly drift over Bristol.
