TSFE Fan Dance

Saturday 18 January 2020

It was my pleasure to photograph the Fan Dance again, organised by The S.F. Experience. This team of ex-Special Forces do a great job organising tough events, in the Brecon Beacons and beyond. The Fan Dance is a 24km route that goes over Pen Y Fan twice, infamous as part of the UK Special Forces selection process.

We were fortunate to have such a beautiful crisp winter day, although this meant a tough icy section on the climb to Corn Du. I alway enjoy photographing the Fan Dance - what a place to call the office for the day! The competitors are a friendly fun crowd, giving a great mixture of photos from posed portraits to landscape shots that shown the big scenery they are running through.
