Tortworth Snowdrops

Just a couple of days ago I was walking in full winter conditions on Pen Y Fan. Today it felt like spring, with warming sunshine and the snowdrops emerging. The beautiful snowdrops near the Tortworth estate and Cromhall haven't reached their peak yet - based on what I saw today and my photos from previous years they will be looking better in a couple of weeks. But it was wonderful to get a taste of spring, even if we get a bit more winter yet. I love the changing of the seasons, but for me there's no rush.
